TDS Meter is designed to measure TDS (TDS, mg/l), Electrical Conductivity (EC, µS/cm), Temperature (°C) and Fahrenheit (°C), an essential instrument to have to maintain your Reverse Osmosis Water filter and to ensure the RO membrane is functioning correctly.

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) is the total amount of freely charged ions (including salts or metals) dissolved in a given volume of water.

Conductivity-based TDS is read in parts per million (PPM) or milligrams per litre (mg/L). TDS includes inorganic elements and suspended solids in pure water molecules (H2O).

So the lower the TDS, the purer the water.
