- Doulton Sterasyl® Ceramic Pre-Filter Made in UK Designed to capture sand, dirt, sediment, and other particles and contaminants, along with bacteria, parasites and viruses down to sub-micron levels of 0.9 microns, Giardia cysts and Cryptosporidium filtering down to sub-micron levels of 0.9-microns, whilst also using the silver ions impregnated within the ceramic to kill off bacteria acting as a self-sterilising ceramic shell for the life of the filter**
- Aragon Post-Filter Made in EU. Designed to remove all free Chlorine and reduce Chloramines, along with other chemicals and heavy metals. Thanks to the premium Aragon media it is also impregnated with silver Ions giving you excellent tasting odour-free sweet tasting water. The additional microorganism protection layer provides 100% protection from influenza Viruses and many of the water-borne bacterias known to cause infections.

*It is recommended that the Post filter cartridge is replaced every 6-12 months according to the water quality and usage; however, the Ceramic Pre-filter can simply be scrubbed under fresh running water while using a fresh scourer Scrubbed every 6-12 months according to water quality and usage.

We live in country NSW and use tank water; we had a filter system before we bought this one, and we can all taste the difference with this system. We have had this system for almost 2 years and still use the same sediment filter. I love how we can give it a quick scrub, rinse under water, and reuse it; it saves us a ton of money and is a very reliable system. As with our previous system, we had to replace the filter cartridge because it got blocked several times yearly due to the tank water. I love the included filter change reminder that beeps when the filters need changing. It is convenient!
