This three-layer sediment filter provides extra protection for your high-value Aragon filter cartridges.

It captures dirt, sediment, rust, sand, silt, and algae.

The unique three-layer method is engineered without any bonding agents or toxic glues.

The first layer has 10-micron filtration, the second has 5-micron filtration, and the inner core has 1-micron filtration. This allows the filter to simultaneously capture larger and smaller particles and other contaminants while simultaneously capturing more minor matter, as small as 1 micron, without affecting the flow of the 1-micron inner core. The inner core captures particular matter up to 100 times thinner than a human hair.

This filter is designed and included to help the Aragon Plus cartridges perform at their best, increasing their lifespan and contaminant-holding abilities. Budget/ Rotation Method

Option 3: Upgrade to a Washable 1 Micron Pleated Sediment Filter, 2 x Aragon filters, and 3 High-pressure O-rings.

The washable Pleated filter is recommended when Tank water is in use or when other high sediment sources are present. The sediment filter can be periodically removed, washed, and treated for algae bacteria.

Made with a triple-layer structure to maximise the contaminant holding capacity and filter life, this filter filters down to 1 micron, stopping even the most minor sediment from passing through.

Unique, 3-Stage Polyspun Filter Cartridge

The Included sediment filter is designed and engineered with a Unique 3-stage Layer system to provide ultra-performance. This system has a gradient of 10-micron, 5-micron, and 1-micron filtration inside the inner core. This design helps to maximise the filters’ performance and also prevents the sediment filter from clogging.

Thanks to the patented thermal bond technology, this filter is manufactured 100% without binders or adhesives.

Stage-2: Aragon Plus Filter Made in Europe,

The patented second stage mechanically filters impurities through the surface layers with extremely high accuracy.

The Aragon solid block material is a bacteriostatic polymer made from silver additives and granules of ion-exchange resins.
