The new SGS-polymers (globular space structure) material combines three types of filtration: mechanical, sorption, and ion exchange – making this filter the most efficient at removing the broadest range of contaminants.

Long polymer chains are formed in the production process. These polymer chains are coated and enable a highly effective ion exchange process up to 20 times more effective than standard ion exchange methods.

SGS polymers provide the best results when complex removal of harmful impurities is required. Contaminates and compounds, including heavy metals and radioactive materials, are removed through ion exchange and sorption mechanisms.

The Aragon 3 solid block material is a bacteriostatic polymer made from silver additives and granules of ion-exchange resins. Hardness salts, dissolved and colloidal iron, heavy metals and their compounds are removed through the resin and polymer ion-exchange properties.

The Aragon filter capacity also removes active chlorine, chlorine-containing, and organic compounds. This filter can remove 100% chlorine, reducing chloramines and many other contaminants.

This three-layer sediment filter provides extra protection for your high-value Aragon filter cartridges.

It captures dirt, sediment, rust, sand, silt, and algae.

The unique three-layer method is engineered without any bonding agents or toxic glues.

The first layer has 10-micron filtration, the second has 5-micron filtration, and the inner core has 1-micron filtration. This allows the filter to simultaneously capture larger and smaller particles and other contaminants while simultaneously capturing more minor matter, as small as 1 micron, without affecting the flow of the 1-micron inner core. The inner core captures particular matter up to 100 times thinner than a human hair.
